Lake City-Columbia County’s first craft brewery, Halpatter Brewing Company, takes its name from Halpatter Tustenuggee, the best-known former Seminole Indian resident from the Village of Alligator, which today is known as Lake City. Halpatter brews a variety of specialty craft brews and is located in the heart of downtown, Lake City. The craftsmanship and ambiance of their brew house are just as amazing as the beer they brew! If beer is not your thing, then have a glass of wine from the San Sebastian Winery, brought in from St. Augustine, Florida. Come and enjoy their outside second-floor deck, sit by the fire in the beer garden, watch your favorite game at the outside bar, or enjoy their spacious, modern indoor bar and seating area. If you are looking for a great space to hold your next reception, meeting, or party, they also have event space available! We have no doubt this will become one of your favorite, must-visit breweries.
