Meet the Team

Paula Vann

Paula Vann

Executive Director

Paula Vann is the Executive Director of the Columbia County Tourist Development Council, overseeing the strategic direction of sales and marketing for the county. She represents Columbia County at the local, state, and national levels. 

Paula is a seasoned sales and marketing executive with over a decade of marketing, consulting, and progressive business development experience, generating over $35 million in sales. She spent a large part of her career as an account executive in the corporate interior design industry, and in the nonprofit sector as a marketing specialist and community liaison for 13 different north Florida counties. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and received her M.B.A. from the University of Florida.

Native to Nashville, Tennessee, Paula has lived, worked and played in Lake City, Florida since 2006. She enjoys hiking, shopping, sporting events, volunteering in the community, and spending time with her family. 

Kim Goldsmith

Marketing Manager

Kim Goldsmith joined the Columbia County Tourist Development Council as the Marketing Manager in 2019. She oversees social media content, advertising, and promotion for the TDC. 

Kim has a variety of experience in the travel and tourism industry, including 13 years as a flight attendant, before working for Virgin Holidays, where she hosted a weekly eco-tourism airboat experience and marketed the Orlando area, attractions, excursions, and theme parks. She attended Florida State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.

Originally from south Florida, Kim enjoys the outdoors, traveling, shopping, trips to Disney World, and spending time with her family and rescue dog, Oreo. 

Alden Rosner

Alden Rosner

Sports Marketing Director

Alden Rosner is the Sports Marketing Director for the Columbia County Sports Commission and has been with the Columbia Country Tourist Development Council since 2018. He is responsible for the promotion and marketing of the Southside Sports Complex and enhancing the county’s sports tourism efforts.

Prior to arriving in Lake City, Alden worked for the parks and recreation departments in Live Oak, Florida and Farragut, Tennessee, where he oversaw athletic leagues and park operations. He graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Advertising and Sports Management.

Alden is from West Palm Beach, Florida and enjoys staying active. He can typically be found running, biking, or playing golf.

Michelle Moore

Office Manager

Michelle Moore came to work at the Columbia County Tourist Development Council in 2015, where she currently serves as Office Manager. She maintains the Tourist Development office. Michelle plays an important role in the daily operations of the Tourist Development Council through her dedication to Columbia County, providing visitors with information on the area, and distributing brochures to local hotels and campgrounds. 

Michelle and her family are lifelong residents of Lake City, Florida. She lives on a small farm in Columbia County and enjoys reading, gardening, hunting, and farming. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her two daughters.

Any VISIT FLORIDA partner which receives more than 50 percent of its funding from Tourist Development Taxes is required to submit financial reporting to the Governor, Senate President and Speaker of the House by July 1st.
